We live in a world surrounded by chemicals, electromagnetic frequencies, air pollution, water pollution, polluted food, etc. We know these things are bad for us, but so long as we appear healthy, we tend not to think about them. Even when we do get sick, our doctors tend to try and treat the symptoms rather than address what may be causing the issue. It is estimated that over 80,000 chemicals have been introduced in the United States alone. Those chemicals have been created with little or no safety testing (http://www.ewg.org/release/lautenberg-renews-drive-protect-public-toxic-chemicals).
It took 6 years for us to get to a point where we paid attention to our toxic environment and ultimately it made all the difference for us to have a successful pregnancy. I was essentially being poisoned and that poison was causing DNA fragmentation, a problem that was known to create reproductive issues. Please keep in mind that a toxic environment caused fertility issues for me, but for someone it may be cancer or another serious condition/disease. Everyone needs to assess the consumer products they use, the food they eat, the water they drink, and the air they breathe.
